Casey is excited to welcome Scott Burnett as our Women’s VL1 head coach!
Scott grew up playing at TEMs before taking an ‘extended’ break. Dusting off the stick in 2024 reminded him that the love of hockey never leaves you, even if the legs need a little convincing!
Coaching is where he now puts that passion. His experience includes the Hockey Victoria U14 and U16 state team systems, the HV High Performance Coaching Program and SSV U15 Girls. He has also coached several Southern Sharks teams, including the 2024 bronze medal winning U18 Girls, the 2026 silver medal winning U16 Girls and more recently the 2026 U18 Girls.
He is passionate about player development, loves helping players grow in confidence, and building an environment where people look forward to turning up.
Scott is looking forward to being apart of the Casey community and getting stuck into 2027!
