ROUND 7 SENIOR RESULTS
A solid win for the Men’s 1’s against 2nd place Mornington gives Casey a 3 point buffer on top position. Also, good to see the Men’s 2’s come back from 0-2 down at half time to win 4-2 with Jason Moult leading the way with 2 goals.
Women’s 1’s had to fight hard against MHSOB, with the result ending in a draw. The 2’s cruised to an 8-2 victory over OHA. Rebecca Gregory again scoring 3 goals giving her 10 goals in 7 games, Kyezanne and TJ both adding 2 goals each.
The men’s 3’s struggled going down convincingly to top of the ladder Glen Eira, but the women’s 3’s performed well against Glen Eira beating them 2-0 to put ourselves into the top 4.
The masters came back from last week’s loss with a 2-2 draw against Croydon.
ROUND 3 JUNIOR RESULTS
Under 14’s kicked of Friday night going down to Frankston 0-2, but our under 16 team who were depleted in numbers due to late withdrawals played an excellent game winning 2-0 against Waverley. This was helped by some of our under 14 players stepping up to make sure we had enough on the field.
Both our under 10 teams had a good Saturday morning Casey team 2 coming away with a 0-4 win against Southern United and Casey team 1 knocking over Mentone 0-2.
Under 12’s had a bye.
